Meet the member
We caught up with Genevieve Rogers Buchet, an Accenture alum and current Policy Advisor at the Department of Defense through a fellowship with the Horizon Institute for Public Service.
How consulting helped: "I think consulting was by far the most fast-paced, high accountability, high efficiency environment. If you ever get comfortable in a space like that, that is such a superpower in the future"
What policy needs from consultants: "Product mindset and systems thinking. In business, you have to serve people well enough that they're willing to pay you for it. The government doesn't have that feedback loop - people just have to deal with your messy systems."
